In Germany there are many organisations in which people with a migrant background come together. Most of the migrant organisations are involved at the local level as associations and usually work on a voluntary basis for their members. In addition, there are some supra-regional networks or nationwide ones acting as umbrella organisations. You can find out more about the migrant organisations here.

Here you will find a number of non-profit associations, networks and organisations that are actively established by EU citizens in Germany. Due to the large number of organisations in which migrants are involved, not all of them could be considered.
