Intra-EU labour mobility after the pandemic – Summary

This Eurobarometer survey takes a closer look at Europeans‘ mobility experiences and intentions, exploring people’s motivations to move, or not, their overall perceptions of freedom of mobility, and their awareness of certain EU bodies and tools that have been created to support fair labour mobility. The current survey covers the following areas:

• Future mobility intentions
• Channels for finding work abroad
• Preferred tupe and length of employment
• Preferred countries
• Impact of COVID-19 on mobility intentions
• Motivations and obstacles to moving abroad for work
• Europeans‘ past experiences living or working abroad
• Europeans’ perception of freedom of mobility and fair labour mobility in the EU
• Awareness of EU- bodies and tools supporting fair labour mobility

The findings of the survey have been analysed firstly at EU level and secondly by country.
